À la suite d’un examen complet, il a été conclu que les valeurs recommandées dans le document RS-G-1.7 de l’AIEA peuvent être utilisées tant comme valeurs d’exemption par défaut, en remplacement des valeurs de concentration d’activité établies à l’annexe I de la directive 96/29/Euratom, que comme seuils de libération inconditionnelle remplaçant les valeurs recommandées par la Commission dans le document Radiation Protection n° 122 .
After a comprehensive review, it has been concluded that the values recommended in IAEA document RS-G-1.7 can be used both as default exemption values, replacing the activity concentration values laid down in Annex I to Directive 96/29/Euratom, and as general clearance levels, replacing the values recommended by the Commission in Radiation Protection No 122 .

(24) Compte tenu de l'implication d'un certain nombre de pays tiers et de l'éventuelle implication d'organisations internationales dans les programmes, y compris en matière de sécurité, il convient de prévoir expressément que des représentants d'organisations internationales et de pays tiers, en particulier la Suisse - avec laquelle un accord de coopération devrait être conclu - peuvent participer, à titre exceptionnel et sous certaines conditions, aux travaux du conseil d'homologation de sécurité.
(24) Given the involvement of a number of third countries and the potential involvement of international organisations in the programmes, including in security matters, express provision should be made for representatives of international organisations and of third countries, in particular Switzerland - with which a cooperation agreement should be concluded - to be able to participate, on an exceptional basis and under certain conditions , in the work of the Security Accreditation Board.

Les autorités compétentes qui attribuent des contrats de service public ne peuvent cependant pas opérer de discrimination à l’encontre des opérateurs potentiels établis dans d'autres Etats membres au motif qu'ils ne sont pas encore établis dans l'État membre en question ou qu'ils ne sont pas encore en possession de la licence les autorisant à exploiter les services, étant en particulier entendu qu'elles doivent prévoir un temps suffisant entre l'attribution du contrat et la date du début du service en sorte que les opérateurs puissent obtenir les licences nécessaires.
However, competent authorities awarding public service contracts shall not discriminate against potential operators established in other Member States on the grounds that they are not yet established in the Member State in question or have not yet been granted a licence to operate services, in particular by allowing sufficient time between the award of the contract and the service commencement date to allow operators to obtain the necessary licences.
