M Hübner a également indiqué qu’elle espérait que la «proposition relative à un nouveau Fonds de solidarité amélioré, qui été adoptée par la Commission en avril 2005 pour la période 2007-2013 afin d’apporter une réponse à des catastrophes dont l’origine n’est pas une cause naturelle, sera approuvée par le Conseil et le Parlement européen dans les meilleurs délais».
