Following the meeting with motor industry heads on 14 June, Mrs Edith Cresson, Commissioner responsible for research, education and training, and Mr Martin Bangemann, Commissioner responsible for industrial affairs, telecommunications and information technologies, are due to meet about 40 representatives from the European multimedia industry (see attached list) in Brussels at 15.00 on Wednesday 13 September to discuss ways of developing a European industry in multimedia education and training programmes, which is also the main aim of the Educational Multimedia Software Task Force set up by the two Commissioners to carry out joint industrial projects in this field.
