C’est la raison pour laquelle je suis favorable à l’idée d’établir officiellement un réseau de lutte contre la corruption, composé de points de contact dans les États membres, dont les activités devront être pleinement associées (dans le cadre des différentes compétences) à d’autres organisations et agences jouant un rôle fondamental dans cette lutte, comme c’est le cas avec l’OLAF (l’Office européen de lutte antifraude), Europol et Eurojust.
For this reason I support the idea of formally establishing an anti-corruption network with contact points in the Member States, the activities of which must be fully associated (within the respective competencies) with other organisations and agencies playing a fundamental role in this fight, as is the case with OLAF (European Anti-Fraud Office), Europol and Eurojust.

I believe that in this context, and in the context of the dialogue that the Council and Parliament will have to establish on the future of Europol and Eurojust, it will be possible for us to find an acceptable institutional solution to the relationship between the Council and Parliament with regard to Europol.
