(12) Toutefois, il convient de prévoir la possibilité de déroger à l'interdiction générale de mise sur le marché, d'importation dans la Communauté et d'exportation depuis cette dernière de fourrure de chat et de chien et de produits en contenant dans les cas où l'on peut garantir que la fourrure provient de chats ou de chiens qui n'ont pas été élevés ni tués pour la production de fourrure et où elle est étiquetée en tant que telle et où, par conséquent, elle n'aura pas d'effets négatifs sur la confiance des consommateurs dans la fourrure et les articles en fourrure.
