If the European Parliament adopts amendments to the Council's position, the President of the Council shall, during the same plenary sitting, take note of the differences in the position of the two institutions and give his/her agreement for the President of the European Parliament to convene the Conciliation Committee immediately.

4. Sous réserve de l’article 34, tout amendement adopté par la réunion des parties entre en vigueur pour les parties qui l’ont ratifié, accepté ou approuvé le quatre-vingt-dixième jour après le dépôt des instruments de ratification, d’acceptation ou d’approbation par les deux tiers des parties à cet accord, sur la base du nombre de parties à la date de l’adoption dudit amendement.
4. Subject to Article 34, any amendment adopted by the meeting of the Parties shall come into force among the Parties having ratified, accepted or approved it on the ninetieth day after the deposit of instruments of ratification, acceptance or approval by two-thirds of the Parties to this Agreement based on the number of Parties on the date of adoption of the amendment.

5. Les amendements sont adoptés à la majorité des deux tiers des États parties à la convention, telle que révisée par le présent protocole, présents et votants au sein du comité juridique, élargi conformément au paragraphe 4, à condition que la moitié au moins des États parties à la convention, telle que révisée par le présent protocole, soient présents au moment du vote.
5. Amendments shall be adopted by a two thirds majority of the States Parties to the Convention as revised by this Protocol present and voting in the Legal Committee expanded as provided for in paragraph 4, on condition that at least one half of the States Parties to the Convention as revised by this Protocol shall be present at the time of voting.

If all efforts at consensus have been exhausted and no agreement has been reached, the amendment shall, as a last resort, require for its adoption a two-thirds majority vote of the States Parties to this Protocol present and voting at the meeting of the Conference of the Parties.

Sans préjudice des mesures d'exécution déjà arrêtées, et à l'exception des dispositions énoncées à l'article 26, dès l'expiration d'une période de deux ans après l'adoption de la présente directive, et au 1er avril 2008 au plus tard, l'application des dispositions de ladite directive nécessitant l'adoption de règles techniques, d'amendements et de décisions conformément au paragraphe 2 est suspendue.
4. Without prejudice to the implementing measures already adopted, and except for the provisions laid down in Article 26, upon expiry of a two-year period following the adoption of this Directive and on 1 April 2008 at the latest, the application of its provisions requiring the adoption of technical rules, amendments and decisions in accordance with paragraph 2 shall be suspended.

An amendment to the Agreement other than an amendment to its annexes shall be adopted by a two-thirds majority of the Parties present and voting and shall enter into force for those Parties which have accepted it on the 30th day after the date on which two thirds of the Parties to the Agreement at the date of the adoption of the amendment have deposited their instruments of acceptance of the amendment with the Depositary.

Les amendements au protocole, sauf les amendements à son annexe technique, sont adoptés par consensus des parties représentées à une réunion de l'organe exécutif, et entrent en vigueur à l'égard des parties qui les ont acceptés le quatre-vingt-dixième jour suivant la date à laquelle deux tiers des parties ont déposé leurs instruments d'acceptation de ces amendements.
3. Amendments to the Protocol, other than amendments to its Technical Annex, shall be adopted by consensus of the Parties present at a meeting of the Executive Body, and shall enter into force for the Parties which have accepted them on the 90th day after the date on which two-thirds of the Parties have deposited their instruments of acceptance thereof.
