Als u meer informatie wilt over de neveneffecten van chemotherapie of radiotherapie, of praktische tips zoekt om de nevenwerkingen te verzachten, kunt u gratis een brochure met uitleg aanvragen bij de Stichting tegen Kanker. U kunt ook terecht op de website van de Stichting (www.kanker.be) onder de rubriek ‘Behandelingen’ of bij de Kankerfoon op 0800 15 802.

De onderzoekers stelden ook vast dat in 35% van de gevallen de informatie over het stadium waarin de kankers zich bevonden niet werd gemeld aan de Stichting Kankerregister.
Les chercheurs ont également constaté que dans 35% des cas, les informations relatives au stade de la tumeur n’étaient pas communiquées à la Fondation Registre du Cancer.

Behalve de uitsluitingslijsten maakt de Stichting Kankerregister tevens de volgende informatie over aan het CvKO: de naam, het RIZIV-nummer en het adres van de huisarts voor elke persoon uit de populatie die uitgenodigd wordt voor de opsporingstest.
A côté des listes d’exclusion, la Fondation Registre du Cancer transmettra également au CvKo: le nom, le numéro INAMI et l’adresse du médecin généraliste pour chaque personne reprise dans la population à inviter au dépistage.
