Je voudrais spécialement remercier le vice-président du Parlement européen, Alejo Vidal-Quadras, le président de la commission, Herbert Reul, et les trois rapporteurs du Parlement, Catherine Trautmann, Pilar del Castillo Vera et Malcolm Harbour, qui, à l’instar de mes collègues au Conseil, ont effectué un travail très important pour nous permettre de préparer le paquet «Telecom».
I would like to extend a special thank you to the European Parliament’s Vice-President, Alejo Vidal-Quadras, the Committee Chairman, Herbert Reul, and the three rapporteurs from Parliament, Catherine Trautmann, Pilar del Castillo Vera and Malcolm Harbour, who, like my colleagues in the Council, have done some extremely important work to enable us to put the telecoms package together.

– Madame la Présidente, je voudrais d’abord remercier M Reding, notre commissaire, la présidence française, qui a obtenu, au mois de décembre, une position commune très intelligente, puis la présidence tchèque qui vient d’arriver à ses fins, et je voudrais remercier et féliciter principalement nos trois rapporteurs, Malcom Harbour, Catherine Trautmann et Pilar del Castillo, qui ont fait un travail magnifique.
– (FR) Madam President, I would like first to thank Mrs Reding, our Commissioner, the French Presidency, which in December came to a very intelligent common position, and then the Czech Presidency, which has just achieved its aim. I would also like to thank and congratulate above all our three rapporteurs, Mr Harbour, Mrs Trautmann and Mrs del Castillo Vera, who have done a magnificent job.
