Far from being an additional obstacle for operators in the railway sector, the certification system, which will specify the criteria which must be met in order for a rail operator to be recognised as an entity in charge of maintenance, will open up opportunities which, until today, have been limited only to certain undertakings.

Le budget total de 55 millions de DKK (soit 7,4 millions d'EUR environ) sera alloué aux exploitants déjà présents sur le réseau ferroviaire danois, ainsi qu'à de nouveaux opérateurs.
The total budget of DKK 55 million (around €7.4 million) will be allocated to operators already present on the Danish rail network, as well as to new operators.

(18) “Secure operator” status should be recognized throughout the European Union but could be withdrawn by the Member State which awarded it if the operator were found to be in serious breach of the conditions under which it was awarded.

(45) Des mesures sont nécessaires pour garantir que toutes les entreprises ferroviaires reconnues par le droit communautaire soient tenues de détenir un certificat de sécurité approprié avant d'opérer sur le territoire d'un État membre. Il y a lieu que la délivrance des certificats de sécurité soit conforme au droit communautaire.
(45) Measures are needed to ensure that all railway undertakings licensed under Community law are required to hold an appropriate safety certificate before operating on the territory of a Member State; the granting of safety certificates must comply with Community law.
