Les citoyens européens sont en droit d’espérer beaucoup des conclusions du Conseil européen qui marquera la fin de la Présidence suédoise le 10 décembre, l’espace de liberté, de sécurité et de justice étant enfin consacré comme un domaine d’action majeur, véritablement européen et véritablement humanitaire, grâce à l’adoption du programme de Stockholm auquel la commission des libertés civiles, de la justice et des affaires intérieures apporte une contribution décisive par le rapport qui sera adopté cette semaine.
European citizens are entitled to hope for much from the conclusions of the European Council that will mark the end of the Swedish Presidency on 10 December, with the area of freedom, security and justice at last being enshrined as a major sphere of action that is genuinely European, and genuinely humanitarian, through the adoption of the Stockholm Programme, to which the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs is making a decisive contribution through the report that will be adopted this week.
