- (EL) Madame la Présidente, ce rapport représente la dernière étape d’une procédure importante qui a commencé avec le rapport rédigé par mon très cher collègue Jo Leinen, une procédure qui a culminé lors de la présidence grecque lorsque la présidence et le Conseil, à la suite d’un échange de vues avec le Parlement, ont fini par adopter le règlement 2003/2004, lequel améliore sensiblement le statut et la création de partis politiques européens dans l’Union.
– (EL) Madam President, this is a report which constitutes the final stage in an important procedure, a procedure which started with the report by my dear honourable friend Jo Leinen, a procedure which culminated during the Greek Presidency, when the Presidency and the Council, following an exchange of views with Parliament, finally adopted Regulation No 2003/2004, which substantially improves the statute and foundation of European political parties in the world of Europe.
