Suite à la décision de la Commission du 21 décembre 1993, l'enveloppe financière globale pour l'objectif 2 s'élève à 15.316 Mécus (à prix 1992) pour la période 1994-1999, dont 7.163 mécus pour la période triennale de programmation 1994-1996.
