I shall end, Mr President, by mentioning two initiatives very quickly, so as not to take up too much time: the Facility of the European Investment Bank, which we would like to take the name of the Commissioner, because of her tenacity, of her having promoted a social cohesion fund that is a complete innovation within the European Union’s history; and an initiative that we do not want to come to nothing: that of the Bi-regional Solidarity Fund, a Fund which is not going to cost the Union any money, because we are not asking for any additional aid, a Fund that is supported by the European Parliament and by our Latin American partners.

The determination of the new government to continue the efforts of the previous government in following a European orientation is considered positive and the willingness of the new government to promote all the necessary reforms so that Croatia can advance quickly towards the objective of integration into the European Union, which it too wants, is particularly appreciated.
Nous saluons positivement la détermination du nouveau gouvernement à poursuivre les efforts du gouvernement précédent visant à adopter une orientation européenne. De même, nous apprécions particulièrement la volonté du nouveau gouvernement de continuer à promouvoir toutes les réformes nécessaires de façon à ce que la Croatie puisse avancer rapidement sur la voie de son objectif d’intégration à l’Union européenne, qui le souhaite également.
