Our previous leader, Joan Russow, who I believe was our leader for three to four years, has resigned as of the beginning of March and I was appointed by our national council to fill that role, as is required by the Elections Canada legislation, until we go through the democratic process with full member involvement and a proper campaign, which will occur later this year.
