De gegevens over de veiligheid van aliskiren werden recent herbekeken door het Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) van het European Medicines Agency (EMA) [ www.ema.europa.eu/docs/en_GB/document_library/Medicine_QA/2012/02/WC500122916.pdf ].
Les données concernant le profil d’innocuité de l’aliskirène ont été récemment revues par le Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) de l’Agence européenne des médicaments (EMA) [ www.ema.europa.eu/docs/en_GB/document_library/Medicine_QA/2012/02/ WC500122916.pdf ].

Naar aanleiding van deze gegevens kreeg het Committee for Proprietary Medicinal Products (CPMP), het wetenschappelijk adviesorgaan van het European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products, de opdracht de baten-risicoverhouding van de hierboven vermelde anorexigenen opnieuw te evalueren.
Prenant en compte ces données, le Comité des Spécialités Pharmaceutiques (CSP), l’organe scientifique de l' Agence Européenne pour l’évaluation des Médicaments, a été chargé de procéder à une réévaluation de la balance bénéfice/risque des anorexigènes mentionnés ci-dessus.

De werkgroep is per definitie een meer uitgebreide transversale, interdisciplinaire groep en is samengesteld uit de leden van het projectteam plus leden van Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP), Committee for Advanced Therapies (CAT), Paediatric Committee (PDCO) (inclusief voorzitter), PharmacoVigilance Working Party (PhVWP), Scientific Advice Working Party (SAWP) en Co-ordination Group for Mutual Recognition and Decentralised Procedure, human (CMDh).
Le groupe de travail est par définition un groupe interdisciplinaire et transversal plus large, et se compose des membres de l’équipe de projet plus des membres du Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP), Committee for Advanced Therapies (CAT), Paediatric Committee (PDCO) (y compris le président), PharmacoVigilance Working Party (PhVWP), Scientific Advice Working Party (SAWP) et du Co-ordination Group for Mutual Recognition and Decentralised Procedure, human (CMDh).

Via zijn afgevaardigden binnen de werkgroep voor de evaluatie van immunologische producten (Immunologicals Working Party - IWP) en binnen het Comité voor geneesmiddelen voor diergeneeskundig gebruik (Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use – CVMP) heeft het FAGG significant bijgedragen aan het uitwerken van 3 belangrijke documenten over vaccins voor diergeneeskundig gebruik.

De FAGG-vaccin-activiteiten gaan terug tot eind van de jaren ’90. De experten van de Belgische vertegenwoordiging in de CPMP (nu CHMP - Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use) van het EMEA werden rapporteur voor belangrijke vaccins zoals Tritanrix HepB (vaccin tegen difterie, tetanus, kinkhoest en hepatitis B voor zuigelingen), Prevenar (geconjugeerd vaccin tegen pneumokokken voor zuigelingen) en Infanrix Hexa en Penta (vaccin tegen polio, difterie, tetanus, kinkhoest, hepatitis B en Haemophilus influenzae type b - hexa).
Les activités vaccin de l’AFMPS remontent à la fin des années ’90. Les experts de la représentation belge au CPMP (actuellement CHMP - Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use) de l’EMEA ont été rapporteur pour des vaccins importants tels que Tritanrix HepB (vaccin contre la diphtérie, le tétanos, la coqueluche et l’hépatite B pour les nourrissons), Prevenar (vaccin conjugué contre le pneumocoque pour les nourrissons) et Infanrix Hexa et Penta (vaccin contre la polio, la diphtérie, le tétanos, la coqueluche, l’hépatite B et l’Haemophilus influenzae type b - hexa).

De Belgische vertegenwoordigers in het Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use (CVMP) hebben op een totaal van 56 producten, 20 maal het (co-)rapporteurship voor immunologische producten op zich genomen.
