Si, comme on peut le penser, la volonté du député de LaSalle Émard est de retirer ce projet de loi ou de ne pas le mettre en application, ce qui serait encore pire, une fois qu'il sera devenu chef du Parti libéral, pourquoi ne pas appuyer les peuples autochtones et retirer le projet de loi tout simplement, le retravailler et le redéposer lors d'une prochaine législature ou à un autre moment jugé opportun par le gouvernement libéral?
If, as we believe, the member for LaSalle Émard wants to withdraw this bill or not enforce it, which would be even worse, once he is leader of the Liberal Party, why not support the aboriginal peoples and just withdraw the bill, rework it and table it again in the next Parliament or at a later date that the Liberal government deems more appropriate?
