Does the Commission consider it responsible to plan a motorway from Århus to Ringkøbing through EU Habitat no. 45 covering the Gudenå Valley and the Gjern Bakker, even though there is quite clearly an alternative route for the motorway around the outside of the area; or will it recommend that Denmark should not waste many resources on planning and on studying the possibilities for this road through a protected nature reserve; and will it speedily answer the question from Stefan Rossel of 3 October 2000 to that effect, with a copy to the Danish government?
