Lorsque la personne assurée a effectivement pris elle-même en charge tout ou partie du coût du traitement médical autorisé et que le montant que l’institution compétente est tenue de rembourser à l’institution du lieu de séjour ou à la personne assurée conformément au paragraphe 6 (coût réel) est inférieur à celui qu’elle aurait dû assumer pour le même traitement dans l’État membre compétent (coût théorique), l’institution compétente rembourse, sur demande, le coût du traitement qu’elle a supporté à concurrence du montant de la différence entre le coût théorique et le coût réel.
7. If the insured person has actually borne all or part of the costs for the authorised medical treatment him or herself and the costs which the competent institution is obliged to reimburse to the institution of the place of stay or to the insured person according to paragraph 6 (actual cost) are lower than the costs which it would have had to assume for the same treatment in the competent Member State (notional cost), the competent institution shall reimburse, upon request, the cost of treatment incurred by the insured person up to the amount by which the notional cost exceeds the actual cost.

Where reference is made in this Regulation to the law which would have been applicable to the succession of the person making a disposition of property upon death if he had died on the day on which the disposition was, as the case may be, made, modified or revoked, such reference should be understood as a reference to either the law of the State of the habitual residence of the person concerned on that day or, if he had made a choice of law under this Regulation, the law of the State of his nationality on that day.

(3) Subject to paragraphs (1) and (2), where a person is employed in a diplomatic mission or consular post of one Party in the territory of the other Party, or in the private service of an official of such a mission or post, the legislation of the latter Party concerning liability for contributions shall apply to him or her as if he or she were employed in its territory, unless within three months of the entry into force of this Convention, or within three months of the beginning of the employment in the territory of the latter Party, whichever is later, he or she chooses to be insured under the legislation of the former Party, provided that he or she had been so insured at any time before the commencement of the employment at that mission or post.

2. La personne assurée qui est autorisée par l'institution compétente à se rendre dans un autre État membre aux fins d'y recevoir le traitement adapté à son état bénéficie des prestations en nature servies, pour le compte de l'institution compétente, par l'institution du lieu de séjour, selon les dispositions de la législation qu'elle applique, comme si elle était assurée en vertu de cette législation.
2. An insured person who is authorised by the competent institution to go to another Member State with the purpose of receiving the treatment appropriate to his/her condition shall receive the benefits in kind provided, on behalf of the competent institution, by the institution of the place of stay, in accordance with the provisions of the legislation it applies, as though he/she were insured under the said legislation.

A person who has sustained an accident at work or has contracted an occupational disease and who resides or stays in a Member State other than the competent Member State shall be entitled to the special benefits in kind of the scheme covering accidents at work and occupational diseases provided, on behalf of the competent institution, by the institution of the place of residence or stay in accordance with the legislation which it applies, as though he/she were insured under the said legislation.

1. An insured person or a member of his/her family who has had a right to a prosthesis, a major appliance or other substantial benefits in kind recognised by the institution of a Member State, before he/she became insured under the legislation applied by the institution of another Member State, shall receive such benefits at the expense of the first institution, even if they are awarded after the said person has already become insured under the legislation applied by the second institution.
