The Agency shall, on behalf of the Commission, transmit the notification to the designated national authority of the importing Party or the appropriate authority of the importing other country and take the measures necessary to ensure that they receive that notification no later than 15 days before the first intended export of the chemical and thereafter no later than 15 days before the first export in any subsequent calendar year.

5. Marketing authorisation holders shall be required to submit electronically to the database and data-processing network referred to in Article 24 of Regulation (EC) No 726/2004 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Eudravigilance database’) information on all serious suspected adverse reactions that occur in the Community and in third countries within 15 days following the receipt of the report or, in the absence of a report, following the day on which the holder concerned gained knowledge of the event.

If the comments submitted, within the 30 days after the date of notification, by any Member State to the Commission and to the Member State which granted the authorization, show that supplies are available during the period of the shortage, the Member State shall consider withdrawal of the authorization or reducing the envisaged period of validity, and shall inform the Commission and the other Member States of the measures it has taken, within 15 days from the date of receipt of the information.
