- (FI) Monsieur le Président, Monsieur le Commissaire, Mesdames et Messieurs, je souhaite remercier Mme Mechtild Rothe.
– (FI) Mr President, Commissioner, ladies and gentlemen, my thanks go to Mechtild Rothe.

- (ET) Monsieur le Président, je tiens à souligner que le rapport de Mme Mechtild Rothe devrait être largement applaudi, avant tout parce qu’il fixe des objectifs contraignants pour les États membres en matière d’utilisation de l’énergie renouvelable.
– (ET) Mr President, I would like to emphasise that Mechtild Rothe’s report should be greatly commended, above all for the establishment of binding obligations on Member States in the use of renewable energy.

J’exprime également des réserves à l’égard de la teneur exacte du paragraphe 39, que je considère incompatible avec le rapport rédigé par Mme Mechtild Rothe, approuvé par le Parlement européen il y a environ un mois (cf. rapport Rothe, amendement 2, point 4a (nouveau) (4a), page 6/15).
I also have reservations about the exact content of paragraph 39, which I consider to be incompatible with the report by Mrs Mechtild Rothe, which the European Parliament voted in favour of about a month ago (see: Rothe report, Amendment No 2, Recital 4a (new) (4a) page 6/15).
