Nous nous opposons à ce désarmement parce que nous croyons qu'il est nécessaire non pas de protéger, comme le disait Mme Langenhagen, mais, au moins, de défendre un secteur compétitif et moderne qui n'est, néanmoins, pas préparé, comme c'est le cas de nombreux autres secteurs, à une libéralisation totale.
We oppose this removal of tariffs because we believe that we do not need to protect, as Mrs Langenhagen said, but at least defend a competitive and modern sector which is still not prepared for total liberalisation. The same is true of many other sectors.
