Regrets that, under Article 10 of the Protocol on transitional provisions annexed to the Treaty of Lisbon, the powers of the Court of Justice with respect to acts in the field of police cooperation and judicial cooperation in criminal matters adopted before the entry into force of that Treaty are to remain the same as they are under the present EU Treaty for a transitional period of five years; welcomes, however, the declaration made by the Intergovernmental Conference concerning that article of the Protocol and accordingly urges the Council and the Commission to join with Parliament in re-adopting those acts in the field of police cooperation and judicial cooperation in criminal matters which were adopted before the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon;

Conformément à l’article 10, paragraphes 1 à 3, du protocole no 36, les attributions de la Cour de justice relatives aux actes de l’Union adoptés dans le domaine de la coopération policière et judiciaire en matière pénale avant l’entrée en vigueur du traité de Lisbonne, et non modifiés depuis, demeurent inchangées pendant une période maximale de cinq ans à compter de la date d’entrée en vigueur du traité de Lisbonne (1er décembre 2009).
Article 10(1) to (3) of Protocol No 36 provides that the powers of the Court of Justice in relation to acts of the Union adopted in the field of police cooperation and judicial cooperation in criminal matters before the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon, and which have not since been amended, are to remain the same for a maximum period of five years from the date of entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon (1 December 2009).
