J'ajouterai que c'est tout de même assez curieux, même étrange, qu'un député libéral ait la fantaisie de déposer ce projet de loi à la Chambre des communes, alors que deux de ses collègues, le ministre des Affaires intergouvernementales et la ministre du Patrimoine, sont incapables de donner au Bloc québécois leur appui et reconnaître l'importance historique, sociologique, culturelle, sociale et humaine de la déportation des Acadiens.
It is rather strange that a Liberal member of parliament would even consider tabling this bill in the House of Commons when two of his colleagues, the Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs and the Minister of Canadian Heritage, are unable to give their support to the Bloc Quebecois and to recognize the historical, sociological, cultural, social and humanitarian importance of the deportation of the Acadians.
