(14) Pursuant to Article 5 of Decision No 3632/93/ECSC, Spain granted the company González y Díez S.A. aid totalling 651908560 pesetas (EUR 3918049.35) for the year 1998 and 463592384 pesetas (EUR 2786246.34) for the year 2000, to cover exceptional costs resulting from the restructuring of the coal industry and unrelated to current production (liabilities inherited from the past).
