Mais c'est aussi une question qui a trait au marché intérieur, et on voit là - mon collègue, Karl-Heinz Florenz, l'a bien décrit -, encore toutes les conséquences économiques de telles décisions.
It is also, however, an issue relating to the internal market, and – as Mr Florenz so clearly described – all the economic consequences of this kind of decision are thus evident.

J’ose donc espérer, mes chers collègues, que la plénière, demain au moment du vote du rapport de mon collègue Jonckheer, confortera un accord qui est aujourd’hui, certes, minimaliste, en l’inscrivant dans une perspective d’évolution au service de l’environnement en Europe.
I dare to hope therefore, ladies and gentlemen, that when Mr Jonckheer's report is put to the vote tomorrow the plenary will confirm an agreement that is for the time being, admittedly, minimalist, by seeing it as part of an ongoing process to serve the interests of the environment in Europe.
