Un débat sur une résolution concernant le tremblement de terre au Pérou n'est peut-être pas le cadre le plus approprié pour entamer la discussion sur la situation politique au Pérou, mais je voudrais néanmoins souligner que nous sommes très satisfaits de la compétence dont ont fait preuve le Pérou et son gouvernement transitoire dans la tenue d'élections transparentes et propres suite aux désastres politiques décrits très adroitement par l'honorable parlementaire dans son discours d'entrée.
A debate on a resolution on the Peruvian earthquake is not perhaps the most appropriate framework to discuss the political situation in Peru, but I would nevertheless like to stress that we are extremely satisfied with the capacity shown by Peru and its transitional government to carry out transparent and clean elections after the political disasters described very effectively by the honourable Member in his maiden speech.
