The widow of a former official who left the service before reaching the age of 60 years and requested that his retirement pension be deferred until the first day of the calendar month following that during which he reached the age of 60 years shall be entitled, provided that she had been married to him for at least one year when he left the service of an institution, and subject to the provisions of Article 22, to a widow's pension equal to 60 % of the retirement pension which would have been payable to her husband at the age of 60 years.
