Q-145 Mr. Shepherd (Durham) Regarding the proposed registration of firearms, would the government, (a) provide a detailed and comprehensive accounting showing the projected cost of the administration of such a system, with all costs both incidental and specific to be taken into account, (b) allocate these cost projections between those costs to be absorbed or recovered from legal gun owners and those to be borne by the general public, (c) provide all statistical assumptions taken into consideration in arriving at these projections and (d) in the case of the general public's allocation, show this cost on a per taxpayer basis?
