Liberal opposition party; the former leader of the B.C. Liberal Party, noted writer and columnist Gordon Gibson; and Mel Smith, a long-time constitutional adviser to the B.C. provincial government and in fact someone who was there representing British Columbia when the Constitution was repatriated.
