Pourquoi ? Il est peut-être vrai que le Parlement européen légifère parfois trop sur des aspects techniques, par exemple quand nous débattons de la courbure des bananes et des concombres, comme l'a dit hier le président Prodi, mais certainement pas quand nous nous penchons sur la question de savoir s'il faut permettre aux personnes atteintes d'un handicap de monter dans un autobus.
It may be true that the European Parliament sometimes overdoes the legislation on technical points, for example when we debate the curvature of bananas and cucumbers, as mentioned by President Prodi yesterday, but that is certainly not the case when we are debating whether people affected by disabilities should at last be able to travel on buses.
