Mr Duff spoke about the "constitutional crisis", also calling, if not for rapid adoption of the Constitution, then at least for great vigilance against attempts by certain Member States to postpone indefinitely the conclusion of the IGC's work, which would make the Convention's draft obsolete and consign it to the archives of the European Union.
