A l'occasion d'une Rencontre d'information et de dialogue sur la Conférence intergouvernementale qui s'est déroulée le 22 janvier à Bruxelles à l'initiative du Comité économique et social européen (CESE), le Vice-président de la Convention européenne, Jean-Luc Dehaene, et le parlementaire européen britannique Andrew Duff, également membre de la Convention, ont invité les organisations et réseaux européens de la société civile à poursuivre le rôle actif et constructif qu'elles ont joué tout au long des travaux de la Convention européenne.
At an information and dialogue meeting on the Intergovernmental Conference, held on 22 January in Brussels on the initiative of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), the Vice-President of the European Convention, Jean-Luc Dehaene, and British MEP Andrew Duff, who is also a member of the Convention, asked European civil society networks and organisations to continue the active and constructive role they have been playing throughout the Convention process.
