Dans ce sens, je dois rappeler que, pour les réseaux d’énergie et d’infrastructures, la Commission a proposé en décembre d’améliorer les systèmes de cofinancement de la part de la Banque européenne d’investissement. Elle a également proposé d’éliminer certains blocages au niveau des transferts de services entre pays, tant en ce qui concerne l’électricité que le gaz, ce qui nous permettrait d’améliorer les interconnections et en définitive, d’atteindre notre objectif, qui est d’essayer d’améliorer notre compétitivité dans le secteur énergétique d’ici l’année 2005.
Whilst we are on this subject, and with regard to energy networks and infrastructure, I should point out that in December the Commission proposed to improve the European Investment Bank cofinancing systems and also the possibility of eliminating some of the bottlenecks in service transfers from one country to another, in both electricity and gas, which will allow us to improve interconnections and, in short, to reach our objective to improve our competitiveness in the energy sector for the year 2005.
