An amount of 99.5 million marks, of which 42.9 million benefited to "Sophia Jacoba GmbH" and 56.6 million to "Preussag Anthrazit GmbH".

Au regard des investigations de la Commission, il est établi qu'une partie de ces aides - 13,55 millions de marks allemands soit respectivement 3,75 millions de marks allemands en faveur de l'entreprise "Sophia Jacoba GmbH" et 9,8 millions de marks allemands en faveur de l'entreprise "Preussag Anthrazit GmbH" - ont porté préjudice à une entreprise communautaire productrice d'anthracite dont la production est nettement plus compétitive et sont donc contraires aux dispositions de la décision n°3632/93/CECA.
The Commission's investigations revealed that part of this aid - 13,55 million marks, that is 3,75 million marks for "Sophia Jacoba GmbH" and 9,8 million marks for "Preussag Anthrazit GmbH" had an adverse effect on a Community anthracite producer whose production was clearly more competitive and therefore ran counter to the provisions of decision 3632/93/ECSC.
