In its conclusions, the Council also pointed out that the tempo of the negotiations continues to depend, in particular, on the progress achieved by Turkey in meeting the required conditions, including the fulfilment of the opening and adjournment criteria and of the requirements defined within the negotiating framework, which specifically cover the implementation of the partnership for membership and compliance with the obligations arising from the association agreement.
