Notes in this regard the Bureau's proposal to utilise EUR 85,9 million of assigned revenue (to be used within the area of Parliament's buildings policy) for Members' offices in Brussels; recalls that any building project likely to have significant financial implications for the budget is subject to consultation of the budgetary authority under Article 179(3) of the Financial Regulation; recalls furthermore that with regard to carry-overs the Financial Regulation stipulates that assigned revenue carried over must be used first; welcomes in this context the fact that Parliament, through the reimbursement of EUR 85,9 million by the Belgian State, will be in a position to bring forward new building projects and thus accelerate the implementation of part of its medium-term property strategy;
25. neemt in verband hiermee kennis van het voorstel van het Bureau om 85,9 miljoen EUR bestemmingsontvangsten (bestemd voor gebruik op het gebied van het vastgoedbeleid van het Parlement) te gebruiken voor de kantoren van de leden in Brussel; herinnert eraan dat de begrotingsautoriteit overeenkomstig artikel 179, lid 3, van het Financieel Reglement moet worden geraadpleegd over ieder onroerendgoedproject dat aanzienlijke financiële gevolgen voor de begrotingsuitgaven kan hebben; herinnert er voorts aan dat het Financieel Reglement met betrekking tot overdrachten bepaalt dat overgedragen bestemmingsontvangsten als eerste moeten worden gebruikt; is in dit verband verheugd dat het Parlement dankzij de restitutie van 85,9 miljoen EUR door de Belgische staat de mogelijkheid krijgt om vastgoedprojecten te vervroegen en zo een deel van de vastgoedstrategie voor de middellange termijn eerder uit te voeren;

1. Estimates of all the revenue and expenditure of the Support Office shall be prepared for each financial year, corresponding to the calendar year, and shall be shown in the Support Office's budget.
