The undersigned residents of Canada draw to the attention of the House of Commons that it is important that the government acknowledge the responsibility of the federal government to establish a commission of inquiry to ensure there is a fully funded process to look at the issue of murdered and missing women in Canada, that we recognize in earnest the violence faced by aboriginal women and that they are actually given the tools they need to bring justice to this issue.
Les soussignés, résidant au Canada, font remarquer à la Chambre des communes qu'il est important que le gouvernement fédéral reconnaisse qu'il lui incombe de créer une commission d'enquête chargée de s'assurer qu'il existe un processus d'examen entièrement financé concernant la question des femmes assassinées ou portées disparues au Canada, que l'on reconnaisse sérieusement la violence faite aux femmes autochtones et que celles-ci aient accès aux outils dont elles ont besoin pour rétablir la justice dans ce dossier.
