– (DE) Mr President, Commissioner, ladies and gentlemen, the resolution is the most positive achievement since the ceasefire agreement and contains most of the demands made by Elmar Brok and myself, on behalf of the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats) and European Democrats, after our visit to Georgia. However, this is not enough.
– (DE) M. le Président, Commissaire, mesdames, mesdemoiselles, messieurs, cette résolution est la réussite la plus positive depuis l'accord de cessez-le-feu et reprend la plupart des demandes faites par Elmar Brok et moi-même, au nom du Parti populaire européen (démocrates chrétiens) et des Démocrates européens, après notre visite en Géorgie.

ENP Action Plans so far agreed and in force with ten ENP partners (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Moldova, Morocco, the Palestinian Authority, Tunisia, and Ukraine) or currently in the process of adoption (Egypt, Lebanon) contain standard wording to the effect that the ENP opens up new Partnership Perspectives including “possibilities of gradual opening of or reinforced cooperation in relevant Community programmes”.
