La Commission accorde déjà son soutien à la production d'énergie éolienne, solaire, géothermique, de biomasse, de petites centrales hydroélectriques, autrement dit, toutes les sources d'énergies renouvelables, exception faite des grandes centrales hydroélectriques qu'il ne convient pas, selon nous, de soutenir car elles disposent de suffisamment de possibilités et elles présentent certains aspects extrêmement négatifs du point de vue environnemental puisque la construction d'un barrage implique toujours l'inondation d'une vallée.
