Je trouve la situation étrange et je me demande si le député trouve cela étrange lui aussi. Le gouvernement aurait pu apporter au projet de loi du député les amendements qu'il juge nécessaires, d'autant plus que les deux projets de loi sont si semblables que j'imagine qu'il n'aurait fallu que quelques modifications de pure forme pour que le comité puisse faire rapport à la Chambre des communes et que le projet de loi reçoive la troisième lecture et soit adopté par la volonté des gens qui représentent les Canadiens à la Chambre des communes.
