The working group Verder, Nabestaanden na Zelfdoding was set up in early 2000 and is a form of co-operation between “hands-on” experts (the bereaved) and health professionals from different sectors.

Since 2002, the working group Verder has organised a “Dag van de Nabestaanden na Zelfdoding” each year, i.e. a day devoted to a conference and meetings for those bereaved by suicide as well as for health professionals, and which about 350 to 400 people attend each year.
