Ze volgen de richtlijnen die worden geformuleerd in de ‘Code van Goede praktijk’ en het Profiel van de ‘Europese vereniging van chiropractors’. Ze stellen een norm voor via het ECS (European Committee for Standardization) dewelke zich in de laatste fase van bespreking bevindt.
Ils suivent les directives formulées dans le Code de bonne pratique 6 et le Profil de l’Union européenne des Chiropracteurs 7 et proposent une norme via le CEN (European Commitee for Standardization) qui est en phase finale de discussion.

Naast een gestandaardiseerde, internationale onderwijsstructuur, valt ook de kwaliteitscontrole onder de Bologna-verklaring, met name het opstellen van kwaliteitsstandaarden (Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area). FICO richt zijn opleiding osteopathie in volgens de richtlijnen van het Beroepscompetentieprofiel Osteopathie (zie verder), opgesteld door het Nederlandse Vereniging voor Osteopathie en Stichting het Nederlands Register voor Osteopathie (NRO) 122 .
Le contrôle de qualité s’effectue sur la base du matériel didactique (établissement d’un plan-cadre d’apprentissage et d’objectifs d’apprentissage, exigences minimales pour les examens et les stages cliniques), d’un contrôle de qualité interne (évaluation par les étudiants et les professeurs) et d’un contrôle de qualité externe (inspection par le NRO).

Momenteel is er ook een eerste draft van een Europese standaard (Health care provision by chiropractors) opgesteld door CEN (European Commitee for Standardization) i.s.m. met de beroepsverenigingen uit verschillende Europese landen.
En ce moment, il y a aussi un premier projet de norme européenne (Health care provision by chiropractors, fourniture de soins de santé par les chiropractors) établi par le CEN (Comité européen de Normalisation) en collaboration avec les unions professionnelles de différents pays européens.
