Patiënten met multipel myeloom: Van de 646 patiënten met multipel myeloom die ten minste 1 eerdere behandeling hebben gekregen, werden 318 patiënten behandeld met de combinatietherapie van Caelyx 30 mg/m 2 als een 1 uur durende intraveneuze infusie toegediend op dag 4 na bortezomib dat wordt toegediend in een dosis van 1,3 mg/m² op dag 1, 4, 8 en 11, om de drie weken of met bortezomib monotherapie tijdens een klinisch fase-III-onderzoek.

De meest voorkomende (geneesmiddelgerelateerde, uit de behandeling voortkomende) bijwerkingen tijdens de combinatietherapie (Caelyx + bortezomib) waren misselijkheid (40 %), diarree (35 %), neutropenie (33 %), trombocytopenie (29 %), braken (28 %), vermoeidheid (27 %) en constipatie (22 %).
Les événements indésirables les plus fréquemment rapportés (survenus pendant le traitement et imputés à celui-ci) sous l’association Caelyx + bortézomib étaient les suivants : nausées (40 %), diarrhée (35 %), neutropénie (33 %), thrombocytopénie (29 %), vomissements (28 %), fatigue (27 %) et constipation (22 %).
