Om ervoor te zorgen dat deze doelstellingen elkaar onderling ondersteunen en niet met elkaar botsen, moet rekening worden gehouden met ontwikkelingen en standpunten die worden ingenomen in internationale fora, en in het bijzonder met de op 4 oktober 2013 op de 38e vergadering van de Internationale Burgerluchtvaartorganisatie (ICAO — International Civil Aviation Organization) goedgekeurde resolutie waarin het „Consolidated statement of continuing ICAO policies and practices related to environmental protection” is opgenomen.
In order to ensure that those objectives are mutually supportive and not in conflict, it is appropriate to take account of developments at, and positions taken in, international fora and in particular to take account of the resolution containing the ‘Consolidated statement of continuing ICAO policies and practices related to environmental protection’ adopted on 4 October 2013 at the 38th Session of the Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Het "Statement of Registrar Accreditation Policy" van de ICANN, waarin met name het Registrars Accreditation Agreement is opgenomen, bevat bepalingen betreffende het verstrekken van persoonlijke gegevens (en andere gegevens) door de domeinnaamaanvrager aan de Registrar, die de gegevens dan doorgeeft aan de Whois-databases (zie bijlage bij deze mededeling).
