This Regulation shall apply without prejudice to related Union legislation in the fields of inter alia safety of the food chain, animal health and welfare, plant health, and plant reproductive material, and in particular to Regulation (EU) No XX/XXX of the European Parliament and of the Council[36] (plant reproductive material) and Regulation (EU) No XX/XXXX of the European Parliament and of the Council[37] (protective measures against pests of plants).

4. En cas d’application des instruments de résolution et d’exercice des pouvoirs de résolution prévus dans la directive XX/XX/UE du Parlement européen et du Conseil(**), les dispositions de la présente directive s’appliquent également aux établissements financiers, aux entreprises et aux entreprises mères relevant du champ de la directive XX/XX/UE.

In the event of application of the resolution tools and exercise of the resolution powers provided for by Directive XX/XX/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council(**), the provisions of this Directive shall also apply to the financial institutions, firms and parent undertakings falling within the scope of Directive XX/XX/EU.

Member States shall ensure that Articles 17(1), 25(1), 25(3), 27(2) first paragraph, 29, 30, 31 and 32 of this Directive do not apply in case of use of the resolution tools, powers and mechanisms provided in Title IV of Directive XX/XX/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council(*)[Directive on Recovery and Resolution] provided that the resolution objectives laid down in Article 27 of Directive XX/XX/EU and the conditions for resolution laid down in Article 28 of that Directive are met.
