Les résolutions adoptées, le fait que le Président Wolski ait convoqué la commission des affaires étrangères dès le 20 août dernier et le fait que Mme Isler Béguin – comme elle l'a rappelé – ait été présente et que son témoignage ait été fort vis-à-vis de cette institution et, au delà, vis-à-vis de l'Union européenne, ont montré l'implication du Parlement européen dans cette crise.
The resolutions adopted, the fact that Chairman Saryusz-Wolski convened the Committee on Foreign Affairs on 20 August and the fact that Mrs Isler Béguin – as she pointed out – went to the conflict region and gave a powerful testimony on behalf of this institution and, beyond that, on behalf of the European Union have confirmed the European Parliament’s involvement in this crisis.
