Ministers held the usual exchange of views with the President of the European Parliament, Ms FONTAINE, accompanied by Mr Elmar BROK and Mr Dimitris TSATSOS, Members, on the progress of IGC proceedings in the light in particular of the discussions of the Ministerial Conclave held on Sunday 19 November (afternoon) concerning, inter alia, the composition of the Commission, the reweighting of votes in the Council, the extension of qualified majority voting (in particular concerning Article 42 - social security/freedom of movement; Article 67 - visas, asylum, immigration, etc.; Article 93 - tax provisions, and Article 133 - commercial policy), and on the matter of the possible inclusion of a reference to the Charter of Fundamental Rights in Article 6 of the Treaty.
