55. reconnaît les progrès notables accomplis par les autorités de Belgrade pour coopérer avec le TPIY; reprend à son compte et réitère l'appel lancé par le Procureur général des Nations Unies, Carla Del Ponte, pour que l'ancien commandant Ratko Mladic ainsi que l'ancien chef de la Republika Srpska, Radovan Karadjic, soient immédiatement livrés au TPIY; rappelle qu'une coopération pleine et entière avec le TPIY est essentielle à la poursuite des négociations de l'A.S.S.; en conséquence, prie instamment les autorités serbes de ne pas laisser passer la chance qui leur est offerte afin de poursuivre résolument leur politique d'intégration européenne approfondie; leur rappelle qu'il est indispensable de veiller à ce que la politique du gouvernement vis-à-vis du TPIY bénéficie de l'appui sans réserve, à tous les niveaux, de l'administration, de la police, du pouvoir judiciaire et de l'armée;

Recognises the significant progress made by Belgrade's authorities in cooperating with the ICTY; endorses and repeats the call by the UN Chief Prosecutor, Carla Del Ponte, for former commander Ratko Mladic and former leader of Republika Srpska Radovan Karadjic to be immediately handed over to the ICTY; recalls that full and active cooperation with the ITCY is an essential prerequisite for pursuing negotiations on an SAA; therefore urges the Serb authorities not to miss the window of opportunity which is being offered to them and to pursue resolutely their policy of further European integration; reminds them that it is vital to ensure that the government's policy towards the ICTY enjoys the full support, at all levels, of the administration, police, judiciary and army;
