L’Office communique à Eurojust toute information relevant du mandat de celui-ci qui est susceptible d’appuyer et de renforcer la coordination et la coopération entre les autorités nationales chargées des enquêtes et des poursuites ou les éléments d’information qu’il a transmis aux autorités compétentes des États membres laissant supposer l’existence d’une fraude, d’un acte de corruption ou de toute autre activité illégale portant atteinte aux intérêts financiers de l’Union et relevant de formes graves de criminalité.
Where this may support and strengthen coordination and cooperation between national investigating and prosecuting authorities, or where the Office has forwarded to the competent authorities of the Member States information giving grounds for suspecting the existence of fraud, corruption or any other illegal activity affecting the financial interests of the Union in the form of serious crime, it shall transmit relevant information to Eurojust, within the mandate of Eurojust.

'2. Where the Appointing Authority or OLAF becomes aware of evidence of failure within the meaning of paragraph 1, they may launch administrative investigations to establish whether such failure has occurred.

4. Lorsque l'Office dispose, avant l'ouverture d'une enquête, d'éléments d'information laissant supposer l'existence d'une fraude, d'un acte de corruption ou de toute autre activité illégale visée à l'article 1 er , le directeur général de l'Office en informe les autorités compétentes des États membres concernés et, sans préjudice des réglementations sectorielles, celles-ci donnent un suivi approprié et, le cas échéant, procèdent à des enquêtes conformément au droit national applicable, auxquelles les agents de l'Office peuvent participer.
4. Where the Office has to hand, prior to an investigation, information which suggests that there has been fraud, corruption or any other illegal activity referred to in Article 1, the Director General of the Office informs the competent authorities of the Member States concerned and, without prejudice to the sectoral rules, those authorities shall ensure that appropriate action is taken and, where necessary, undertake investigations in accordance with national law, in which staff of the Office may take part.

5. Lorsque l'Office décide de ne pas ouvrir une enquête, il informe Eurojust de la transmission aux autorités compétentes des États membres des éléments d'information laissant supposer l'existence d'une fraude, d'un acte de corruption ou de toute autre activité illégale visée à l'article 1 er , relevant de formes graves de criminalité et impliquant deux États membres ou plus.

When the Office decides not to open an investigation it shall inform Eurojust that it has forwarded to the competent authorities in the Member States information giving grounds for suspecting the existence of fraud, an act of corruption or any other illegal activity referred to in Article 1, in the form of serious crime involving two or more Member States.
