Les projets de loi d'intérêt public non gouvernementaux émanant du Sénat peuvent aussi être rétablis aux Communes à l'étape où ils se trouvaient dans la première session si, après avoir été adoptés de nouveau par le Sénat, ils sont redéposés à la Chambre des communes dans les 60 premiers jours de séance d'une session et que le Président convient que leur texte est inchangé par rapport à la version à l'étude au moment de la prorogation.
Non- government public bills originating in the Senate can also be reinstated in the Commons at the same stage they had reached during the prior session if such bills are re-introduced in the House of Commons within the first 60 sitting days of the session, after being passed again by the Senate, and the Speaker of the House of Commons is satisfied that the bills are in the same form as they were at the time of prorogation.
